Lovely lake-side lodge in South Cerney, The Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, England – Stunning Lake-side lodge in a unique, peaceful location and ideal for all age groups.
Sleeps 5 (3 Bedrooms)
Main bedroom with King-size bed, large fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers, CD/radio and panoramic views over the lake.
Bedroom 2 is smaller room (limited walking space round double bed) with chest of drawers and hanging rail.
Bedroom 3 has single bed and a hanging unit. Space for cot (not provided).
The modern family bathroom has a bath (complete with family of ducks) and hand-held shower-head, toilet and wash basin.
On the ground floor, there is a shower room with toilet and wash basin.
The compact but well-fitted kitchen has washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and large professional cooker and lots of cupboards.
The large open-plan lounge/dining room provides ample seating and dining facilities for 6 people with smart TV, DVD player and the breathtaking views of the lake.
Parking for 1 car adjacent to property; parking for additional vehicles available at entrance to the lake area.

A beautiful lodge located at the end of Spring Lake where the ducks congregate and swans nest. This lodge offers tranquility and convenience. Enjoy the activities available within the Water Park and explore the delights of the numerous nearby picturesque Cotswold villages. Visit Bourton-on-the Water (with a high street running parallel to low bridges over the river Windrush) or Ashton Keynes (boasting more bridges over the Thames than London) to name just a couple. Take a trip to the nearby spa town of Cheltenham, famous for its festival and Gold Cup race course, or Swindon with its large designer outlet mall.
Watch, or try for yourself, the water-skiing and inflatable rides on Spring Lake or enjoy some of the other outdoor activities available at the water park – tennis, sailing, cable wake-boarding, kayaking, horse riding, boat hire, bird watching – to name just a few. Keynes Park Country Club has a man-made beach and fishing lakes suitable for fly or course fishing.
For cyclists and walkers alike, the many miles of cycle-track offer a means of exploring secluded villages and country pubs serving local dishes.

For fish lovers, a visit to the nearby Bibury trout village is a must. Here you can have a picnic, buy (or catch your own) fresh trout or simply wander between the trout pens and feed the fish!
For those who don’t want to cook, the Lakeside brasserie which is just a short walk from the Lodge, serves a wide range of snacks and meals which can be enjoyed on the waterside deck or inside watching sport on the numerous TVs. The Boathouse pub and nearby hotel with spa and pampering treatments available to non-residents, are located close-by.
The Cotswolds Water Park is only 15 minutes from the M4 motorway and within easy driving distance of London, the Midlands, Bristol and the West Country and is a convenient, accessible and relaxing location for a weekend escape or midweek break.

A large Tesco store is located on the outskirts of Cirencester. There is a local convenience shop in South Cerney village which is a short drive from the lodge.
